It's the 1st December the tree is up ( well the imitation one any way)the kids have started on their advent calendars and it's time to get writing the Christmas cards.
This year Sam and Georgina have made cards at school which will raise funds. I'll post a copy of them when we have them.
It's been the normally hectic weekend so far in between acting as taxi driver, head cook, bottle washer ( as the dishwasher is still broken !)ironing duties, shopper,homework supervisor, guinea pig mucker outer and general dogsbody! Tomorrow doesn't really get any better and then it's Monday!
I don't really feel prepared for Christmas at the moment but I'm sure with the normal last minute panic everything will be alright.
Oh to be a snowman! or even a man ( Life would be so easy!)

Mmm yes to be a man, today I got up at 6.30am, which was earlier than I usually do on a week day to take my baby boy to his new job, which is closer, (a bonus) but starts earlier. Then I came home sorted out the washing, hung it up, did the washing up as the pump has gone on the dishwasher. Went to to Matalan at Hertford to get a few presents, back home for lunch, finished off my Christmas cards. sorted the washing again, watched the dishwasher being fixed. Finally ended up going to pick his lordship up. In the middle of that I posted two birthday presents and did the food shopping.
I am thanjk full that Tom managed to get over the Stevenage to help Beth spend some of her birthday money at Toys R us!!
