Never let an elephant sit on your head!

When will I become a lady of leisure - that's what I want to know ? Another day closer to Christmas and a long list of things still to do. I think I've finally managed to write most of my cards and tonight even started to wrap a few bits and pieces.

This afternoon I started to organise all of the holiday photos in to some sort of chronological order so that I can arrange them in the " scrap book kit" bought earlier in the month. It has been opened and closed more times than a tube train door waiting for me to work out what to do with it, so today I bit the bullet and started it.

I've only done about 4 pages so far - it took me ages. I've had glue up my arms and then got a rotten paper cut right under my thumb nail which is really sore.I'll try and do a bit more tomorrow but time is starting to run out!!

I've had to do the trick of being in two places at the same time again today - which I seem to be getting the hang of, then it was home for tea, "filling the dishwasher!!" and catching up on my e- mails.

This evening the kids and Malc were watching some weird programme on the telly.I heard screams of laughter and got called in - only to watch the replay of a video of a zoo keeper tending some elephants. He stupidly was standing behind the elephant when the creature decided to sit down - on the keepers head. Unfortunately for the keeper his head went right up it's derriere and he had to literally be extracted out !!! How horrible!! Still could have been worse - I suppose - but not quite sure how ???
